Plans underway for 2006 NIAA Annual Meeting

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning to be the focus

Make plans to attend the 2006 Annual Meeting of the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA), scheduled for April 3-6.  The Galt House Hotel and Suites in Louisville, Ky. will serve as the site for the event.  NIAA is looking forward to hosting in its home state.

Each year, NIAA’s Annual Meeting brings together producers, veterinarians, business executives, scientists, academicians, state and federal regulatory officials and other stakeholders in the animal food and fiber industry to discuss the latest issues in animal agriculture.

The event will again feature a number of keynote presentations by several pre-eminent agricultural leaders, through its general sessions and various events.  NIAA committees will present 12 information-packed seminars addressing the breadth of issues affecting animal agriculture today.

In addition, a special focus symposium, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning – Applying a Full-Court Press for Animal Agriculture, will take place in conjunction with the annual meeting on April 6.

NIAA’s mission is to provide a forum for building consensus and advancing solutions for animal agriculture and to provide continuing education and communication linkages for animal agriculture professionals.
