ID · INFO EXPO 2004 SUMMARY 

ID INFO EXPO 2004, held May 18-20 in Chicago, provided significant momentum for animal ID advancement in the United States.  The event attracted nearly 500 industry and government stakeholders and 35 animal identification companies and information systems service providers from the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K.  In addition to a technology showcase, the conference featured reports from the NIDT species and issues working groups.  These reports provided the latest recommendations from each species, including cattle, swine, sheep, goat, equine and bison.  Also presenting was a markets/processors working group.
