Development of the Action Plan

The Second National Youth Livestock Program Ethics Symposium featured speakers addressing each of the four areas of program emphasis: self‑examination, unified effort, education, and enforcement. After absorbing the information presented on the first day, the second day of the symposium was devoted to discussion groups addressing each of these program emphasis areas. Symposium participants were given the opportunity to select a work group, and the groups met throughout the morning to discuss the issues surrounding youth livestock program ethics. The following plan of action was developed by the symposium participants in specific discussion groups.
