Action Items

  • Create a database of how each state uses their award system and what awards are given, especially innovative ideas that may be incorporated.

  • Encourage scholarship programs to reward many rather than large dollar amounts to a few.

  • Focus on evaluating youth goal achievement in conjunction with project evaluation.

  • Communicate the importance of the above to fair and exposition management via LCI to IAFE, AE&R and the land‑grant system.
