Membership Levels

National Associations and Commercial Organizations

Membership for organizations and corporations that operate at a national or international level, as well as federal agencies (such as USDA’s APHIS and FSIS, FDA, etc.). Ten submember contacts permitted within this membership, full voting privileges. 


State level Associations & Publicly Supported Institutions

Membership for state government agencies, diagnostic laboratories, university-affiliated organizations operating at a state level, and also federal agencies at regional locations.
Five submember contacts permitted, full voting privileges.



Membership for self-employed or
small entities, such as practitioners, retirees or others that do not fit a state or national level membership.
Single contact, full voting privileges.



Farmers and Ranchers

Membership for small-scale farmers or ranchers. Single contact, full voting privileges.






Membership for students currently enrolled in a college or university.
Single contact, no voting privileges.

By becoming a member, the National Institute for Animal Agriculture provides opportunities for our members to engage in dialogue about issues within animal agriculture. NIAA provides educational and informational programs to help our members be better informed to supply information for them to do their jobs. NIAA is a solution for the animal agriculture industry as workshops pull together decision-makers, problems are identified, and solutions initiated for industry-wide gain.
