Reportable disease lists and travel requirements vary widely among states. Years ago in 2009, the NIAA Global Animal Health and Emerging Disease Council established a resolution to create a database to house the species and state-specific requirements for moving livestock across state lines.
The Interstate Livestock website exists with the help of USAHA and other sponsors. Today, the site is operated by Trace First Inc.
